Supporting mental, physical and emotional wellbeing
Hello to all our Students
How are we all adjusting to our ‘new normal’? – I’m sure you are all noticing lots of unexpected changes and watching too much news. In our Tuesday Live Zoom, guest tutor, John McCormack encouraged us to notice the good things that are happening…..
Lots of things and ideas are going on our Facebook Page, if you use it do connect with us there. Please find a way to connect with us that works for you: Facebook: (North Ayrshire Wellbeing & Recovery College), website www.nawarc.com , Zoom, follow us on our new Twitter and started a YouTube channel too.
Don’t worry if you haven’t quite got the hang of the technology, we are all learning together. Remember if you are struggling to connect with us, you can send us an email and one of the team will respond. We are trying to phone all of our students – this will help to keep you connected and aware of what is happening at the Recovery College.
This week one of our students, Tommy has sent a quiz to share, we hope you enjoy it.
It has been wonderful to see all the rainbows that people are putting on their windows to show support to the friends and neighbours – you are never too old to draw your own rainbow. It’s also heartening to hear the ‘clap for carers’ at 8.00pm on a Thursday evening – this idea started in Italy and it is a wonderfully simple way of showing support and connectedness within your local community and see some neighbours!
Next week’s Zoom Invites are below, just click on the link from your phone or tablet or laptop and follow the instructions, you will need to enable audio and video when you join. Students have enjoyed seeing each other and catching up and discovered it is not as difficult as they imagined.

4. Create-a-long Live ZOOM with Molly on Monday 13th of April at 1pm. Bring what you are making, sketching, knitting, stitching, with a cup of tea for a chat and a show and tell. Some students suggested this so let’s see who would enjoy this?
